A stable and reliable pipeline network is needed to transport energy from all over the world to the right places. Our job is to ensure the safety of this network. Working as a team and using highly advanced technologies, such as ultrasound images, we are able to detect the smallest imperfections around the world before they become a threat. In this way, we contribute not only to a reliable energy supply but also to securing a sustainable future, as well as actively ensuring the protection of people and the environment along industrial plants.

In doing so, we ensure the highest quality across each component of our inspection solutions. We do everything in-house: from the idea to the design, programming and production through to the evaluation of results. Do you want to join the search? Then join the ROSEN Group and take part in a comprehensive, fully paid training program with cutting-edge technology and a team that is always by your side on your journey to become an expert in international pipeline safety.

Let's cut to the chase:

What is data analysis at ROSEN all about?

Our inspection devices are in use around the globe and create data images from the inside of industrial equipment, such as pipelines.

This visual data is checked at our analysis centers in Dresden-Radebeul, Germany, and Lingen, Germany, to detect and interpret the smallest irregularities. You will receive one year of training to do this – with a full salary, of course.

You will then use the data to create final technical reports. A friendly team is always on hand to help and offer advise in this high-responsibility job.

Inspection & data collection

The first step is for our inspection equipment to inspect the pipeline. It records data from the system that allows for conclusions to be drawn about the material properties of the pipeline. The data is presented visually, in a way that is similar to an ultrasound image. This allows for even tiny defects such as fine hairline cracks in the material to be detected.

Data transmission

The data collected by the inspection device during an inspection is first transferred to a computer on site and then forwarded directly to our computer center in Lingen, Germany or the analysis center in Radebeul, Germany.

Data editing & analysis

An innovative software program is used to check the data, filter it and highlight any conspicuous patterns. This is where our data analysts come into play: their job is to analyze every anomaly. If the assessment reveals any defects, these are marked separately in the so-called "Final Report".

Final Report

The Final Report is ultimately issued to the customer, to inform them where exactly they need to check or repair their system.
